Communication Skills In my Humanities class to finish off our "The Great Gatsby" unit we had to have a final project. Mainly an artistic form of what we learned. We had our little canvases and drew what ever we wanted. I was inspired by the photo up above and wanted to draw a fun party scene. I drew a crowd of people and focused on the very unique style of the roaring 20s. The shiny dresses, headpieces and the tuxedos. -When were done with our art pieces we had to be able to explain to our teacher the meaning behind the art. My piece was inspired by Gatbsy's huge parties. In my art I just painted the clothing and no faces or body parts because in the book, Gatbsy didn't even care who any of these people were. They were just decoration to him and were not important at all. (I sadly don't have any pictures of my art because it's hanging in Ms. Pepitone's room. But the photo below is what I was inspired by)
