Pre-Calculus Unit 1 Test Study Guide After completing our Unit 1, which included topics like exponents and polynomials, rational expressions, complex numbers, factoring, etc., we had a 58 question packet to complete. This was to help us review all we had learned since the year had started in preparation for our first unit test. The 21st century skill I feel this assignment addresses is Thinking and Problem Solving Skills. In Pre-Calculus or any math class in general , this skill is essential. This assignment in particular required a lot of using past knowledge and going back on what we had learned which was quite difficult. When doing the study guide you want to make sure your going through the problems step by step and checking your answers which helped me improve on my Thinking and Problem Solving Skills. Thankfully, Ms. S usually gives us a separate sheet with answers that we can go and make sure we did it right. What I'm proud of us is that I got this assignment done, but if I could go and improve this I would make sure I understood each topic completely. This assignment relates to what I have learned in the past because this whole unit was basically focusing on reviewing topics from Algebra 2 which was last year. I can apply this to future learning because this year in Pre-Calculus a lot of these topics are the fundamentals of what we will learn.
