In ELA we were given a packet with the story of "The Most Dangerous Game". This project focused a lot on interpersonal skills. We started reading it in groups and by the time we were done we started a story analysis. Ms. Pepitone introduced the project to us and the options for what we can do. We could make a map, skit, pamphlet, etc. We decided on the map. We had to gather information from the reading and make accurate settings in the map. What I'm most proud of was how we made the map interesting and included fun drawings. The most difficult part of this was finding time to paint our map. We used some time in art to paint and use the tools in that class. This will help me in the future by being able to make visuals from context gathered from a reading.
21st Century Skills Interpersonal Skills- We worked in groups. We had to work together effectively so we got an outcome that we all wanted. We had many different aspects from the story so we had to make sure everyone had a part. Communication Skills- I had to communicate with my group so we could plan out everything we wanted to do. Communication was key in making sure everyone was doing their part and we all put in our own ideas. When we were done with the project we had to present to the class and communicate effectively so our classmates could understand. Self Directional Skills- I had a goal set in this and it was to do my part in the drawings. I thought of some ideas that would be interesting and unique. I wanted to give a creative approach with the pop out/3D drawings. Information Skills- I researched designs that could be interesting for the map. I had to search for pictures that related to the aspects of the map.
