For my senior seminar class we had to begin creating what will ultimately be our final senior project presentation. We started with a couple slides and then over time we will add more as the year continues and we finish our project. We had to have 6 slides that included: 1) Title Slide 2) Driving Question 3) Mentors 4) Project Vision and Proposal 5) Product Process Phase 1 The 21st century skill I think this assignment reflects is communication skills. We all had to present our slides in front of the class and this skill was very important. Some kids didn't really get their project across in the best way which was why this skill takes a lot of practice and this was a great way to develop this skill. We were basically introducing our projects to everyone so if we didn't do it in an efficient way it was kind of a rough start but I think kids were able to see how they needed to improve. What I'm most proud of from this assignment was that I was able to organize my slides in a clear and concise way that was easy for me so that when I was presenting I could easily communicate my project to the audience. What was most difficult about completing this task for me was planning ahead. For example our project vision and plan slides, it was hard to expand on that which was why I kept it simple on the page. If I could improve this work I would have added pictures of my mentors. I will apply this to future learning because this was basically a warm up for our upcoming presentation, so it's great to have in mind how they will play out.
